Dear Friends:

My daughter Becky and her family left Saturday, and I miss the life around the house; but, I'm back to walking with my friends and working. It's so good to be getting some exercise again.

Bill and Barbara Spoto McGowan, friends from Tampa, FL, and Cortona, Italy, invited us to dinner at the Tampa Yacht Club last week to celebrate Barbara's birthday. She wouldn't tell us how old she is, saying, "A lady never tells her age, and a gentleman never asks." L. to R.: Bill McGowan, my granddaughter Sofia, my daughter Becky, my son-in-law Roberto, Barbara Spoto McGowan, me, my granddaughter Michela, and Major (the maitre d' at the Tampa Yacht Club, who has been there for years and years).

I'm looking forward to our Dealers' Meeting February 25-27. This is an informal opportunity for my authorized dealers to get together with my staff and each other to exchange information and share ideas. They'll be coming to my house here in St. Petersburg, Florida, so I won't have to travel for once. There's always such good camaraderie at our meetings, and it's going to be fun.

I was saddened to learn that Irene Tarpley of Salem, Virginia, passed away over the weekend. Irene was a member of the Moss in the Valley Chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society and had served two terms as president of the chapter. She was a good friend to the Society, to me, and to "the world of Moss." She will be greatly missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

'Til next week…

Love,
Pat
