Dear Friends:

My daughter Mary, her son Sean and daughter Sarah, along with Sarah’s friend Joey Conduff, came down to Disney World last weekend in celebration of my grandson Sean winning the Virginia State Single-A Wrestling Championship in his weight class.  Congratulations, Sean!  I drove over to Orlando to celebrate with them.  I spent the night at The Swan and had my yearly swim with the kids and took them out to dinner.  It was such fun!

My annual swim with the kids at Disney World!

I was delighted to have lunch last week with Art and Jean Smith.  Art is a past president of the P. Buckley Moss Society Board of Directors, and he and Jean are dear friends.  That same day, friends Wilma Stafford and her husband Eddie dropped in to visit, so we all went out to lunch together.  Wilma is the President of the Society’s Friends Meeting Chapter of Waynesville, Ohio.

I’m so happy that my friend Joyce Wilson, who lives here in St. Pete, made it through her surgery with flying colors and is doing well.  She had to have work done on three heart valves.  Thank God for modern medicine and talented doctors!  Joyce and her family have been my friends for so many years and have been a total joy.

As you can see, I’ve had a wonderful week; and, I’ve also been working in my studio and loving every minute of it.  This weekend, I’ll be showing with the Finn Gallery, and gallery owner Tim Finn and I will release two new prints, Fallen Heroes and The Graceful Lady.

Fallen Heroes, above, and The Graceful Lady, below, will be released during my show with the Finn Gallery, March 9-11.  Fallen Heroes is my tribute to three fallen St. Petersburg, FL, police officers and will be offered in three sizes.  Half the proceeds from each print sold at the Finn Gallery will benefit the officers’ families via the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association.  The Graceful Lady features The Don CeSar Hotel.  For more information, please contact the gallery at 727-894-2899.

I occasionally do “remarques” on prints.  A remarque is when I add something to an existing print—paint something extra on it—making it a one-of-a-kind work.  Notice how different this remarque of
The Graceful Lady is from the regular print.  This remarque will be available during my show with the Finn Gallery this weekend.

Love,
Pat
