Dear Friends:
I had Labor Day Weekend "off" (no shows), but I still painted! I put the finishing touches on the painting for this year's Christmas print. It will be titled A Child is Born and will retail at $100.00. It measures 19 3/4 x 14 3/4 inches, a little larger than previous Christmas prints, and it has a very different theme. I'm pleased with it, and I hope you will be, too.
A Child is Born, Pat's painting for this year's Christmas print, will be available from your local Moss gallery in approximately 4 weeks.I've also been working on the concept for a special print edition that will benefit the Red Cross. I'm not quite ready to show it to you yet, but keep posted. I've been listening to the news while I work, and my heart is aching for Katrina's victims.
This coming weekend I'll be in Collinsville, Illinois, showing with The Art Loft Gallery. This month marks The Art Loft's twentieth year of being a Moss dealer, and it has been ten years since I was last with them for a show. I'm very excited to have this opportunity to return to the St. Louis area and visit with Carolyn Welch and her wonderful staff and friends. I've created a special print edition that will make its debut at the gallery's show this weekend. City Skaters features the St. Louis Arch and the Old Courthouse, two famous area landmarks.
City Skaters, depicting the St. Louis Arch and the Old Courthouse, will be released at The Art Loft Gallery in Collinsville, IL, where Pat will be this weekend.Maybe I'll get to see some of you in St. Louis!
