Dear Friends:

If you want a fun weekend, plan on attending Berlin Creek Gallery’s show next year.  We went to an authentic Amish dinner on Thursday night, and there were about fifty people there.  Friday night, the Miller Haus B&B (where I stay every year) provided a wonderful dinner for those who were staying there and the gallery staff and family.  Each year, the Miller Haus is booked with only collectors during Berlin Creek Gallery’s show weekend, so it was a special evening shared with friends.  Saturday night, we went to an Amish dinner theater and enjoyed our meal with live Southern gospel music.  We had a ball the whole time I was there.

All of us at breakfast Friday morning at the Miller Haus B&B.

It was so chilly in Berlin, OH, last weekend that Lee Ann Miller, owner of the B&B, took me shopping for a sweater.  Pictured with us is Matt Beres, son of the B&B’s manager.

Nancy Tarzan, owner of the gallery, is an excellent hostess.  Some of her customers like to come in a little early, because they want to have first choice at the selection of originals.  Nancy likes me to arrive a little early, too, and it’s very nice to have some one-on-one time with collectors.

This Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be at Edinburg, Virginia’s, Ole Time Festival.  I’ll be showing and signing inside historic Edinburg Mill with King James Galleries of Winchester.  I’ve been to the mill before, but I’ve never been to the festival.  I’m very much looking forward to seeing all the exhibits and all the fun.  Come join us and see my new painting and giclée edition of the mill, depicted during the festival, and done especially for this celebration.  There will be a collection of other new originals there as well.

Fun at the Ole Time Festival will be released during my show with King James Galleries of Winchester, which will be held September 21-22 at Edinburg Mill during Edinburg’s Ole Time Festival.  For more information, please contact the gallery at 540-869-9025.

I’m very excited, because after the show I’ll be off to Florida to attend a birthday celebration for my friend Cary Bond.  I’ll be with my Florida friends again—what a joy!  When I told my daughter Mary about it, she said, “I’ll drive down with you!”  So, we’re taking a road trip next week.

Love,
Pat
