Dear Friends:

We are going to have a gorgeous weekend in Waynesboro, with all the color and beauty of fall, and our annual Fall Foliage Festival will be held downtown.  It’s such a treat to be in The Valley this time of year.  I love the fall, everywhere!

My weekend will actually start on Thursday, with a talk at Summit Square Retirement Community in Waynesboro.  Summit Square is part of Sunnyside Retirement Communities, which is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year.  My talk starts at 2:30 p.m, and I’ll also be signing the special fundraising print that I did for Sunnyside, From Humble Beginnings to a Century of Caring.  For more information, please contact Matt Dameron, Resident Services Coordinator at Summit Square, at 540-941-3119.

My mother, known affectionately as “Gran Liz”, moved to Summit Square to be closer to me and so much enjoyed the friends and camaraderie she found there.  It’s lovely there, and I’m looking forward to seeing old friends again.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I’ll be signing at my Barn and enjoying the fall flowers and the beautiful view of the mountains.  Saturday morning, I hope to go down to the festival for an hour or so before the Barn Show starts and see more old friends and their new work.  What a way to kick off the season!  My daughter Patty will be downtown at our usual spot, representing me and my work.

Autumn at Silver Lake Mill features its namesake, located in Dayton, VA, and is the last in a series of seasons at Silver Lake Mill.  This print will be released during my October 12-14 Museum Open House & Barn Show.  For more information, please contact the Museum at 1-800-343-8643 or 540-949-6473.

You won’t want to miss other special new releases that will be available at the P. Buckley Moss Museum:
